About the Conference

The National Violent Death Reporting System Conference will be held May 16-18, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

This meeting will bring together an array of stakeholders to showcase findings from the NVDRS and demonstrate how the use of NVDRS data has helped to develop, expand, monitor, and sustain violence prevention programs, policies, and practices. We will also explore the future possibilities for novel methods to enhance the data and so much more.

The NVDRS Conference will only offer full conference registration rates.

The airport offers taxi and shared car services and is approximately a 15-20 minute drive to the hotel.

Taxi Service

Taxi service is available via the taxi pickup station located outside of Baggage Claim 3. Cross the Baggage Claim roadway, and follow the signs to the taxi lane behind the rental car area.

Ride Sharing Services - Uber & Lyft

Uber & Lyft are located next to Baggage Claim 2.  Exit Baggage Claim by following the signs that say "Exit to Ticketing."

Shuttle Service

Shuttle operators provide door-to-door airport service to hotels and all other locations in southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, including Chicago.
